Website Information

Posted by Sal Lo lacono at Oct 6, 2012 6:01PM PDT ( 1 Comment )

Hello Lightning Families,

The website has been updated to include links to the Little Caesar Amateur Hockey League website. Specifically, linking to the 2002 Squirt AA division alignments, Pointstreak, and information on preparing you and your player to travel to Canada (in consideration for our end of season tournament). If you have some time, it’s nice to check out the LCAHL website, just to become familiar with what’s going on in the youth hockey world. There’s a ton of info, if you haven’t seen it already.

Also, I’ll be updating the roster spreadsheet to include the Persha and Kinnunen families to our team. It will be private to current team members and parents only.

Thanks all!!!

Sal

Bottle Drive Fundraiser

Posted by Sal Lo lacono at Sep 5, 2012 11:38AM PDT ( 0 Comments )

Hello Lightning!

The bottle drive fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, September 15. This is a great way for our boys to include themselves in helping out the team. Although it can be a dirty and sticky job, I think the kids value the work involved in “earning their ice”.

Please refer to the “Bottle Drive” document for additional details regarding this event.

Thanks,
Sal

Livingston Lightning 2012 Season

Posted by Joe O'Brien at Sep 4, 2012 9:01AM PDT

Hope everybody had a wonderful holiday weekend!

Please take a look at web page calendar we have added a few skates free of charge. Both us and the Novi SnowCats will be doing home and home shared practices. We will primarily be working on skating for these practices for 45 min, 20 min positional play, and a controlled scrimmage for 15minutes to close. This will help us see the players executing plays and our defenses well before our games that we will have coming up.

We have also schedule a game in Trenton, MI for Next week. It is a weekday game. Please arranging transportation for your child if needed. Myself and other parents/coaches should be able to help, just let us know.

Last and most importantly, we would like to start seeing full attendance at practice in September and the remainder of the season. In addition, the boys need to be on the ice in time ready to practice. See you tonight!

Coach Joe.
